The Monthly Kit Draw

i. How the Draw Works

Every month we give one embroidery or felt kit to one subscriber, chosen at random. It is free to enter and you never have to buy anything.

1. Give us your email. Through the signup form on this site, or any of our other signup forms.
2. Confirm it. We'll send you one email with a confirm button. Your entry only counts once you've tapped it — this is how we keep the list honest, and it's the step people most often forget.
3. You're in. Once confirmed, you're entered in that month's draw and every draw after it, for as long as you stay subscribed.

You don't need to re-enter each month. One confirmed subscription keeps you in.

ii. This Month's Kit

The Folk Hedgehog Felt Kit by Corinne Lapierre — Yorkshire, UK.

A complete felt sewing kit: wool-blend felt pieces, embroidery threads, needle, stuffing, and Corinne's illustrated instructions. Approximate retail value £22.

Entries for this month close at 23:59 on the last day of the month. The draw takes place on the 1st.

iii. Who Can Enter

The draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland — aged 18 or over.

We can only post prizes to UK addresses, which is why we can't include entrants elsewhere for now. If that changes, we'll say so here.

• One entry per person, per month.
• Multiple email addresses belonging to the same person count as one entry.
• Employees of Tiny Patio LTD, our partner artists, and their immediate families can't enter.
• No purchase is necessary, and buying something does not improve your chances.

iv. How the Winner Is Chosen and Told

On the 1st of each month, every confirmed subscriber's name goes into a tin and one is drawn by hand. We film it and put it on our Instagram stories, so you can see it happen.

• The winner is emailed within 48 hours of the draw, at the address they signed up with.
• The winner has 7 days to reply with a UK postal address. If we don't hear back, we draw again — we can't hold a prize open indefinitely.
• The prize is posted within 14 days of us receiving the address, by Royal Mail tracked delivery, free of charge.
• Entries are drawn from active subscribers. If you haven't opened any of our emails for six months, we'll quietly stop including you — opening one puts you straight back in.

The first name and county of each winner is published below and available on request by writing to hello@tinypatio.com, but only where the winner has agreed to it. We always ask first.

v. About the Prize

The prize is the kit named above, sent new and complete. There is no cash alternative and the prize can't be transferred or sold.

If that kit becomes unavailable — these are small-batch things made by independent artists, and it does happen — we'll substitute a kit of equal or greater value and tell the winner what they're getting before it's posted.

The prize is a gift. There's nothing to pay: no postage, no admin fee, and we will never ask you for card details in connection with the draw. If you receive a message claiming otherwise, it isn't from us.

vi. Past Winners

Every draw we've run, and who it went to. Names are published with permission.

This is the first month of the draw, so the table is nearly empty. It won't stay that way.

vii. Your Details

When you enter, you're subscribing to our email letters. That's the only thing you're agreeing to, and it's the only thing we'll use your address for. We don't sell or share your details with anyone, and we don't run third-party advertising off our list.

• You can unsubscribe from any email, at any time, in one click.
• Unsubscribing removes you from future draws — the draw runs on the subscriber list, so we can't keep you in one without the other. It seemed fairer to say that plainly than to bury it.
• We will never publish your surname, full address, or a photograph of you without asking you first.

We may need to change these rules occasionally — if we do, the current version always lives on this page and we won't apply a change retrospectively to a draw already under way. Our decision on the draw is final, and English law applies.
