ii. Agreeing to These Terms
By browsing, ordering from, or otherwise using this site, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site. We won't take it personally.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian place the order for you.
iii. Orders & Contracts
Acceptance of Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy products from Tiny Patio. After you place an order, we will send an email confirming that we have received it. This email is an acknowledgement of your order and does not mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Tiny Patio is formed only when your order has been dispatched.
Until dispatch, we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for reasons including stock errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, or an obvious pricing or product information error. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund.
Stock Availability
We make every effort to keep stock information accurate and up to date. In the unlikely event that a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or, where available, a suitable alternative.
Specification
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, and specifications are accurate. Each product listing describes what is included in the kit. Because materials such as fabric, thread, felt, wood, and other natural components may vary between production batches, slight differences in colour, texture, grain, or finish may occur. Such variations are normal and do not constitute a fault.
iv. Delivery
Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and on our Delivery and Returns page.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website. Any delivery dates or times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including postal delays, adverse weather, industrial action, or other courier-related issues.
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order. We cannot be responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery period, please contact us and we will do our best to help investigate the issue with the delivery provider.
For full details of our shipping services, delivery times, and delivery charges, please see our Delivery and Returns page.
v. Prices & Payment
Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT. Delivery charges are calculated separately and shown at checkout. See our Delivery and Returns page.
Payment is taken at the point of placing the order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Card payments are processed by Shopify Payments Ireland Limited; we do not store your card details.
Discount and promo codes are subject to their own terms (e.g. minimum spend, exclusions, expiry), shown at the point of use.
Pricing errors
If an obvious pricing mistake is made on our side (e.g. a £30 kit listed at £3), we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order rather than honour it. We won't do this for normal small fluctuations.
vi. Intellectual Property
Every design in our catalogue belongs to the artist who made it. Tiny Patio partners with these independent artists to bring you their physical, beautifully assembled kits. You're welcome to:
- Stitch the kit for your own use.
- Photograph and share your finished work, with credit to the artist.
- Gift a finished piece to a friend or loved one.
You're not permitted to:
- Sell, resell, or reproduce the designs commercially.
- Use the designs to teach paid classes without prior written agreement.
- Distribute the pattern leaflet or digital files we may share with you.
vii. Liability
We will be liable to you for foreseeable losses caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses that are unforeseeable, indirect, or consequential.
Our maximum liability for any single order will not exceed the total amount paid for that order, unless higher liability is required by law (e.g. for personal injury, fraud, or breach of consumer rights).
Embroidery involves needles, which are sharp. We're not liable for finger pricks. Please supervise children, and don't stitch when over-tired.
viii. Cancellation Rights & Returns
You have the right to cancel an order at any time up to 14 days after receipt under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our voluntary returns policy extends this to 30 days for unopened items. See the Delivery & Returns policy.
ix. Accounts & Conduct
You're responsible for keeping your account password secure. We won't be liable for losses from someone using your account if you've shared your password.
Please don't:
- Use the site to send unsolicited messages.
- Submit fake orders, scraping requests, or attempt to overload the site.
- Reverse-engineer or copy the site's design or code.
We may, with reasonable notice, suspend or close an account that's clearly being misused.
x. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally, for instance when our shipping carrier changes or when consumer law is updated. The current version is always shown on this page, with the revision number and effective date at the top.
Orders are governed by the version of the terms that was in effect when the order was placed.
xi. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, save that consumers in other jurisdictions retain the protections of their local law.
We'd rather sort things out by email before anything reaches a court. Genuinely.
