About the artist
Corinne Lapierre, Yorkshire, UK
Corinne Lapierre's story began far from the meadow. After a career in fashion design, she stepped away to raise her three young children, and discovered felt through millinery (hat making). It was love at first sight. In 2009 she started selling felted pieces at craft fairs, and a little make-your-own gingerbread kit one Christmas was such an instant hit that her business was born the following year.
Today her kits are still designed and made by a small team in Yorkshire, England, inspired by nature, folk art and traditional textile crafts.
