About this piece
Stitch four lavender bags to enjoy or give away
This kit makes four embroidered lavender bags, each featuring bee and garden-inspired motifs on natural flax linen. Filled with real dried lavender from Provence, they're just as lovely to tuck into a wardrobe or drawer as they are to give as thoughtful handmade gifts.
Why you'll enjoy this kit
- Designed and made in Britain, with recycled and recyclable packaging.
- Makes four embroidered lavender bags, perfect for keeping, sharing or gifting.
- Combines linen embroidery with felt appliqué for a satisfying variety of textures and techniques.
- Full-scale templates mean there's no tracing and no guessing where to begin.
- Real dried lavender from Provence gives each finished bag a naturally gentle fragrance.
- The simple bee motif also lends itself beautifully to adding initials or a small personalised touch.
Tiny Patio skill level: Confident Beginner
Corinne Lapierre describes this project as Intermediate because it combines embroidery with felt appliqué and several construction steps.

Corinne Lapierre, Yorkshire, UK
Corinne Lapierre's story began far from the meadow. After a career in fashion design, she stepped away to raise her three young children — and found her way to felt through, of all things, hat-making. It was love at first sight. In 2009 she started selling felted pieces at craft fairs, and a little make-your-own gingerbread kit one Christmas was such an instant hit that her business was born the following year. Today her kits are still designed and made by a small team in Yorkshire, England, inspired by nature, folk art and traditional textile crafts.
